Capps, a regular on WFO, recently offered a Friday VIP experience in the DSR NAPA hospitality area at NHRA Nationals in Topeka, Epping, and Englishtown. The three separate events to celebrate winning three NHRA events in Houston, Charlotte, and Atlanta.
In Topeka, J.J. from Nebraska, got the VIP Experience and said, “I loved the opportunity to hang out with Ron”, and sure enough, Ron Capps and the NAPA team went on to a historic fourth straight Funny Car win! The last time any team won four in a row was 2012.
Ron Capps and his NAPA team now go for a historic five in a row at the New England Nationals in Epping, NH. For perspective, the last driver to win five Funny Car races in a row was John Force in 1994. WFO listeners still have a chance to hang out with Ron on Friday at the events in Epping, NH or Englishtown, NJ.
