WFO Radio first told you about Roborace months ago. Now, they are putting out their first teaser videos. Roborace bills itself as the first ever driverless electric car competition. The cars are autonomous driving machines that are designed by automobile futurist Daniel Simon, who designed the lightcycles for the movie Tron and the Hydra vehicles in Captain America. They certainly look wild! But, are racing fans ready to watch autonomous cars race each other? That continues to be the question. If you believe that cars are the stars, they just might. Potential speeds have been reported at over 180 mph. If you believe that racing improves the breed, and that driverless cars are in our future thanks to Google, Apple, Uber, Tesla, Ford, and others, then Roborace might be exactly what they need to prove themselves.
