The fast paced motorsports business is full a great characters. People who have worked extremely hard for the love and the passion of the sport. This week’s Friday Feature interview is with Judy Stropus. Judy was recently presented with the 2016 Bob Akin Award for lifetime achievement from the Road Racing’s Drivers Club. Judy spent time in Sport Car racing during the Golden Era and has been called the “Gold Standard” of timing and scoring. She also spent 14 years involved in NHRA Drag Racing in the public relations field. In this feature interview she discusses her career, the people who helped her along the way, and her participation in the 1972 Cannonball Run.
