NHRA Drag Racing will always be 1320 ft to me. I have to say that going to a 1000 ft changed the whole show it really devalued the rich history of the sports record setting speed and E.T . Now that being said we tragically lost Scott Kalitta in a crash that well had it happened in PHX he would still be alive? Hmm I think the NHRA should bring back a quarter mile at the tracks that have long shut down areas. I believe Scott would approve and heck it could make things interesting with car set ups and crew chief decisions at the different lengths in tracks! And I couldn’t think of a more deserving driver than Steve T to snag that ESPY well except for Brittany last year!!! LOL No all kidding aside them CAPCO Boys are on fire and if he doesn’t win well he is the best driver to represent Drag Racing at the moment!
