This is a listener quick guide on how to listen to WFO Radio on your PC or mobile device.
There are multiple ways that someone can listen to WFO Radio broadcasts:
- iPhone Application (Download the iPhone Application)
- Live stream (via PC/Mac/iPhone/Blackberry/Windows Phone/Google Phone/Nintendo Wii/PS3)
- Recorded shows from the Show Archives (via MP3 file)
- iTunes subscription/download
- RSS Feeds (see RSS links on the Show Archives/Clips page)
LISTENING VIA LIVE STREAM
NOTE for Verizon Customers: We have received feedback that if you are on a Mobile device on the Verizon network, you may experience issues, or not be able to stream the LIVE STREAM due to some carrier or hardware restrictions. If you have found a way to listen via your Verizon mobile device, we would love to hear from you. Please send us a note via the Contact Us page, and explain the type of device you are using, and any particular steps, or software you used in order to get this to work.
Here are some basic steps, that cover most devices (PC & Mobile) on how to stream the show live.
Keep in mind, if listening on a mobile device, you need to be on a device that supports high speed connection such as 3G/HSDPA. Slower EDGE or standard GSM data connection will not work to stream WFO Radio.
1. From your device browser, on the main WFO Radio Home page, click on the CLICK HERE button

2. You will then see the following pop-up window for selecting the appropriate player for your PC/Mobile device

Most PC's will get the best performance by selecting the 'Flash Player' option, but you may need to test which option works best for your hardware.
iPhone listeners (if not using the iPhone application) can choose from either of the botton 2 'iPhone' links - from experience and feedback, the last link for 'iPhone & Other Mobile Phone (Direct Stream link)' seems to work the best.
Other mobile phone users should attempt the last iPhone link.
For iPhone links, you will see one additional screen after selecting either link:

From this screen, click on the grey Apple icon, and after a few moments, the stream will open in your devices default player.
ON-DEMAND SHOW ARCHIVES
On demand shows are available in the Show Archives. They are in MP3 format.
Clicking directly on the show link will start the download and will start playing with the associated application on the device you are using. If you are on a PC, and you would like to save the MP3 file locally before listening to the archive, you should be able to 'right-mouse-click' the archive link, and from the drop down, you can select 'Save target as' and then select a location on your PC to save the file. You can then open the file from the location in which you saved the file.
iTUNES SUBSCRIPTION /DOWNLOAD

If you have any user experience that differs from above, and would feel it may be of benefit to other users, please submit your information via the Contact Us page and we will gladly add it to the FAQ.
